Byron R. Wien

Byron Wien (1932-2023) was a distinguished market strategist renowned for his annual "Ten Surprises" and "Life's Lessons" lists. He received an AB with honors from Harvard College and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.Mr. Wien served for 21 years as Chief U.S. Investment Strategist at Morgan Stanley. In 1995, he co-authored a book with George Soros, Soros on Soros – Staying Ahead of the Curve. He was Chief Investment Strategist for Pequot Capital before joining Blackstone in 2009, where he served as Vice Chairman in the Private Wealth Solutions group, advising on economic, social, and political trends.Mr. Wien received numerous accolades, including being named the most widely read analyst on Wall Street by First Call in 1998 and the No. 1 strategist by SmartMoney.com in 2000. He was on the 2004 Smart Money Power 30 list and was one of New York Magazine's sixteen most influential people on Wall Street in 2006. The New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) awarded him a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.

Taylor Becker

Taylor Becker is an MBA Candidate at Harvard Business School. Prior to this, Taylor was a Vice President at Blackstone, where he worked on the firm's Investment Strategy team. In this role, he analyzed global macroeconomic and financial market trends and supported development of thought leadership that guided asset allocation and investment decisions. In addition, he advised the Firm's investment professionals and other stakeholders on their respective macroeconomic exposures.Becker is a member of the Leadership Network at the American Enterprise Institute and is a member of the American Council on Germany. He has also served on the Legacy Council at the New-York Historical Society, the Emerging Leaders Council at East Harlem Tutorial Program, and the Junior Committee at the Union League Club of New York. Mr. Becker received a BA with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017, where he graduated summa cum laude.
